Founded by local mom Zhiqin Zhang, also known as "Z", Yuan Spa blends the traditional practices of Chinese medicine and self-care with Eastern philosophies of wellness. The spa menu includes facials, massages (including CBD massages!), body treatments, and even an ASMR "Power Nap", which uses the body's autonomous sensory meridian response to induce a state of deep relaxation.

Alexa at Yuan Spa gives the best deep tissue massage I have ever had. That, along with the relaxing facilities at your disposal, make this my favorite spa on the Eastside.

The spa facilities are nice, I'm kind of an idiot in the spa, I just sit there wishing I had a boat to play with. That said, I think they are well above average and my wife, who likes spas, likes this. More importantly, I have had two great massages here, one of which was an ashiatsu massage in which the therapist seemingly performed miracles on a couple injuries I had. Without hyperbole, it was the best massage I ever had.
